Moan Loose, the new album from Poino
I felt in the mood for a loud and heavy start to the day so I immediately reached for Moan Loose, the new album from the London/Bournemouth 3-piece Poino.
This is track 3 – Bunny Up. It’s probably my favourite on the album, although ALL the tracks are good in a jagged, lopsided and unusual way. It’s amazing how many bands send their demo to Kooba and cite Nirvana as an influence yet exhibit no such influence in their music, instead making messy and tame guitar music. As far as I know Poino don’t sight Kurt and Co as an influence, yet this track reminds me so much of my first listen to those albums, particularly the better tracks on Incesticide. I hope you enjoy this track as much as I do.
