Eilert Pilarm is a 57 year old Swedish Elvis impersonator.

This track comes to us by way of a compilation album called “Songs in the key of Z”, which was given to me as a birthday present from Kooba’s On Air Myles. It was a well chosen gift and I love it.

Songs in the key of Z was lovingly compiled by Irwin Chusid, who makes his work to unearth the oddest  music around, which terms calls “Outsider Music”. The compilation also features Kooba favourite BJ Snowden.

What I love about this cover version is that it seems to actually get worse with each listen. Quite an amazing feat I’m sure you will agree.
