This track comes from Dignan Porch’s second album entitled Deluded which has just been released through Captured Tracks.
It’s a beautifully laid back psychedelic affair with echos of 60s west coast sounds and 90s US indie guitar.
Deluded
Dignan Porch is a London based band which was instigated by Joe Walsh (ex Artefacts For Space Travel) in 2009.
The band was snapped up by the hip US independent label Captured Tracks immediately after Joe posted the first Dignan tracks online. In fact, there wasn’t even a band yet! Joe played all the instruments himself on the first album, 2010′s Tendrils, before recruiting the full line up.
Joe modestly claims that the label only signed him because he had stated on his myspace page that he lives Tooting (in South London), Tooting being an amusing word for our American cousins.
The band now consists of Joe, his brother Sam, Philippa Bloomfield and Ben Goodwin. 2011′s Deluded was recorded by the full quartet.
