We will be unveiling an amazing track from the new Evolution Control Committee album on the next Jonny and Alex Show which is due to be uploaded on Wednesday 23rd of February. While the track on the show is my favourite from the new album (“All Rights Reserved”, the ECC’s first new record in 7 years), I have found one that might very well be Jonny’s favourite… he just doesn’t know it yet.

This is a remixification of Code Monkey by Jonathan Coulton, the Internet smash-hit songsmith from the US who Jonny interviewed for Kooba a couple of years back. I wonder if Jonathan knows about this little number… Maybe Jonny can ask him after he checks out the song.

Wow! This is really something. There are a lot of my favourite things all in one place. The ECC are fab – we’ve been playing them on shows for over six years now I think.
There’s so many samples in this – a lot of them I think pretty UK-centric. I wonder is JoCo would get all the references?
…Or would it be like us in the UK watching Family Guy and sometimes being flummoxed by names of “celebs” we’ve never heard of before?
