James Adkin
Like Zeppo Marx, James is the good looking trendy one. Also, don't tell anyone but he likes Travis! Can you believe that?! God only knows what he’s doing on Kooba but I tell you what, he’s pretty good at all this DJ lark. You know what I mean?
To be honest, the ambition and enthusiasm of this man frightens me a bit. Also, I'm a moderately disturbed but his up-to-the-minute fashion sense and well sculpted hair. In these exciting times of male grooming and myspace, James is the epitome of the modern DJ.
Unsigned bands have been James' passion for a number of years. His club night, Love Peace and Dirty Sheets at the H20 club in Gravesend, Kent has become something of a cult success and he has been spending time with stations such as BBC 6 Music.
He might disagree with Kooba's policy: “Tough on Travis, tough on the causes of Travis”, but his boundless enthusiasm has made him a valuable part of Kooba's new generation of DJs.
