Synopsis:
Hey Koobs! Alex has taken some time out - but he makes his presence felt nonetheless, with a slice of what you can expect to hear at The SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this year. The Doc brings some old friends along in a new guise, and writes out a prescription for some quality Ska Ska Ska Ska... Then a short hop through the time hole back to The Fox and Firkin for the launch of the new album by perennial Kooba favorites JD and the Longfellows, celebrating the release of "Happy Hour Again" with some drinks, an interview and two tracks from the brilliant new CD. And don't forget to come along to the next Kooba gig, Christ on a Bike this Saturday! We have a three-in-a-row sampler of the quality bands we'll be putting on for you delectation and delight. Phew!
