What sort of music does Kooba play?
Kooba Radio plays music by bands and artists who are either unsigned or affiliated to independent labels.
Our genres of preference are alt rock, indie-dance, alt-dance, alt-country, electro, post rock, punk, post punk, grunge, heavy rock, classic rock, metal, folk, acoustic, hip hop, rock and roll, comedy, blues, rockabilly, experimental, and basement rock (what ever that is).
We will consider music from any part of the world for airplay.

Please note: It is best to send singles or EPs rather than full albums. CD-Rs are fine. We don’t tend to be impressed by flashy artwork, press packs or 8 by 10 glossy photos.
What happens after the music is submitted?
If we accept your submission for air play we will get in touch and tell you so.
We also try to write back to bands who have NOT been accepted for airplay as a courtesy. We regret that sometimes time constraints will mean that this isn’t possible.
